Last night's Loy Krathong Festival leaves its mark on the morning waves and beaches, with krathongs washed up and broken by the waves. Sadly what were once bamboo sticks used to fix the leaves to the krathongs, are now pins and nails making for dangerous rubbish washed ashore for people to step on. Some krathongs I collected on the beach had almost 100 pins in them, some maybe even more. Ouch!
Really heavy rain before sunrise but blue skies followed and then the rain came back!
